Ms Robyn Berry

Robyn is currently the Clinical Nurse consultant at Princess Alexandra Hospital (Brisbane) working with older patients with cancer.

Robyn joined the Cancer services team at PAH to embark on a research project investigating the assessment of older patients with cancer. She has been involved in setting up the first nurse led model of care within Queensland. The current model involves nurse led screening and assessment of older cancer patients referred to PA Hospital.

She works within the oncology team as a gerontological nurse. Her areas of interest – comprehensive assessment, delirium, dementia, frailty and older carers .

Robyn continues to work with the research team – her goal to further investigate the implementation of a cancer specific frailty index
