Ms Anne Mellon

Anne Mellon is the Clinical Nurse Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology at the Hunter New England Centre for Gynaecological Cancer in Newcastle, a position she has held for the past 24 years. Anne is passionate about the care of women with Gynaecological Cancer but has a particular interest in vulval cancer and lymphoedema. Anne is a member of the Cancer Australia Gynaecological Cancer Advisory Group (GCAG), providing high level expert advice to inform its work in promoting best practice gynaecological cancer care and improving gynaecological cancer outcomes.

She has had a long involvement with CNSA, holding positions of office on the National Executive Committee, Hunter Regional Group and the Gynaeoncology Specialist Practice Network, of which she is the current Chair. Anne is also a faculty member of the International Gynaecological Cancer Society, convening and chairing the Nursing Symposium at the annual International meeting.
